ABOUT US

The operations of Our Airline were originally undertaken by a Republic of Nauru entity within the government Department of Island Development and Industry. It operated under a Nauruan AOC and was administered from Nauru.

Nauru Air Corporation was established in July 1996 as a separate Statutory Corporation that is wholly owned by the Republic of Nauru. At that time the oversight of Our Airline's operations was transferred to the Australian regulator, Civil Aviation Authority of Australia (CASA), and it was issued with an Australian AOC. Nauru Air Corporation is a foreign registered company reporting to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Our Airline has been flying the South and Central Pacific for over 30 years and has an enviable record for safety and service excellence.

In September 2006, Our Airline officially became "Our Airline" with twice weekly flights from Brisbane to Nauru, Tarawa and Majuro. In 2008 Our Airline acquired a 2nd B737-300 aircraft to service its new wetlease contract for Norfolk Air.

Our Airline operates to the highest levels of operational and safety standards set by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in Australia.
